It was decent start to my tennis betting tips here at www.betting.com with 2/3 picks ending in winners. Today I have several more from the 2nd Round of the Canada Masters. First up we have Richard Gasquet to beat Thomaz Belluci. Unfortunately the early price of 1.33 has been snapped up and you maybe put off by the short odds but I simply can't see Gasquet losing this match. The Frenchman has won 12 of his last 15 matches losing only to Murray, Nadal and Djokovic in this spell. He has beaten Federer and Djokovic in this run. Gasquet looked in great shape in his convincing first round win over Florian Mayer where he dropped just 5 games. Gasquet beat Bellucci earlier this season at Roland Garros winning 6-3 6-2 3-6 6-3. That was on Bellucci's favourite surface and the Brazilian is far less comfortable on hard courts. He has 26-38 record on this surface and struggled past Golubev in round 1 who has now lost 17 straight ATP Tour matches. If you prefer betting on an underdog then Stakhovsky

The Canada Masters gets underway today and the top 4 are back in action this week. I have found a few matches worth investing in today. First up is the game between Andrey Golubev and Thomaz Bellucci. I don't really need to say a lot about betting on this match. All you really need to know is Golubev has lost his 16 matches on the ATP. They have met three times in the past and Bellucci has won them all. His odds are not great, around the 1.4 mark, but given the recent form of Golubev he is worth a bet. Next game to add to your betting slip is Bernard Tomic against Yen Hsun Lu. The South Korean is a vey average player and in recent weeks has lost to both Bogdanovic (#372) and Michael Yani (#225). We all saw the potential of Tomic at Wimbledon where the 18 year old got all the way to the Quarter Finals and even won a set off Novak Djokovic. He is around 1.67 to win this match. Well worth a bet. If you prefer betting on outsiders then why not try a bet on Pablo Andujar to beat Kevin Anderson

Coral bookmakers have seen money for Serbia to win the Davis Cup and have cut them to 5-2 (from 3-1), making them joint favourites with Spain . The holders will once again be relying on the assistance of newly crowned Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic. "Djokovic looks unbeatable this season, and despite facing a tricky away tie, his presence should be enough to see the Serbs safely into the semi-final," said Cora l spokesman Gary Burton. Serbia face Sweden in an indoor arena in Halmstad at the weekend. In the other quarter finals, Argentina take on Kazakhstan, Germany face France, while Spain travel to the USA. ** DAVIS CUP OUTRIGHT 5-2 (from 3-1) Serbia, Spain, 9-2 Argentina, 5-1 France, USA, 12-1 Germany, 40-1 Sweden, 66-1 Kazakhstan

Beaten Wimbledon women's finalist Maria Sharapova ( 9/2 US Open Outright ) says she is remaining positive despite her defeat to Petra Kvitova on Saturday. The 2004 champion lost 6-3 6-4 to her Czech opponent after going into the tie as firm favourite after already claiming three Grand Slams in her career. Sharapova has had an injury-plagued few seasons and missed the majority of the 2009 season with a shoulder injury, but has regained form and fitness in recent times and believes she is now somewhere close to the top of her game. "It's a big step because my game is improving, and it's a big step because it gives me a tremendous amount of confidence going forward," said Sharapova. "We still have many tournaments in this year and the next and the following." Despite the disappointment of her defeat, the Russian was full of praise for her conqueror and has predicted that after winning her first Grand Slam title, Kvitova ( 11/2 US Open Outright ) will now go
