Kevin Mitchell has told John Murray ( Murray 4/9, Mitchell 13/8 ) not to overlook him ahead of their lightweight showdown as both boxers look for a win to set up a world title fight with Brandon Rios . The British duo step into the ring on Saturday night not only to settle the long-standing debate as to who is the nation's best lightweight, but to also lay claim to the WBO Intercontinental title . The winner of the bout at the Echo Arena could also earn himself a fight against the WBA lightweight king Rios, with promoter Frank Warren admitting he has opened talks over a fight for the winner of Murray v Mitchell. Boxing punters can't make their mind up with which way they think the big heavyweight showdown on Saturday will go, with Coral bookmakers reporting the majority of the outright money going on Wladimir Klitschko at 8-13, yet most of the round betting cash is for David Haye , with round 12 inparticular proving popular and cut to 33-1 (from 40-1). "We've seen a tremendous spread of business on the contest so far, with both fighters backed to win outright and virtually all the rounds attracting support," said Coral spokesman Gary Burton. Burton added, "It was all Haye to start with but our 8-13 on offer for Klitschko has proved far too tempting and he's our worst result, whereas the damage in the round betting would come from a Haye stoppage." Klitschko is 4-1 to win on points, Haye is 9-1 to do likewise. ** World Heavyweight Title Fight 8-13 Wladimir Klitschko, 11-8 (from 5-4) David Haye, 40-1 Draw ** Round Betting 4-1 Klitschko on points, 9-1 Haye on points ...
