We all know that Manchester United picks up the pace right about now. The proof of this is The Carling Cup and the out-right win over (the never defeated before by ManU) AC Milan.
Non believers may think the team's success is only generated by Wanye Rooney. However, the game of football is based on a squad of players - a team. In order for the team to be successful, each part, or player has to consistently play well and work together.
The strength of Manchester United is reinforced with Vidic and Rio Ferdinand re-united. Also, the maturity of Valencia and ever increasing consistency of Nani compliments the already solid mid-field.
The remaining fixtures with regards to the Premiership may not be the easiest, but with the experience and ever growing confidence (based on the Carling Cup and Champions League form); Manchester United, the team, will be able to win the Premiership Title!
With regards to the Champions League, Manchester United are now into the Quarter Final Round for the fourth successive year. The intent has been underlined with the way in which they have qualified. The club should be one of the favourites to win the title now that Real Madrid has been knocked out. Hopefully, the Champions League title can be claimed with a win over Barcelona; and kill the demons that would be haunting them from when they last met in the final.
Now, can anyone see anything but a Manchester United Treble!!
