The Hayemaker's first defence of his well earned WBA Heavyweight Title is on Saturday at Manchester's MEN Arena live on SKY SPORTS. Haye has only lost one in 24 fights, became Boxing Heavyweight Champion of the World with a points win over Russia's Valuev in Nuremberg, November 2009.

David Haye has only fought three times as a heavyweight, but his talent and focus should compensate for any lack of experience.

John Ruiz is a successful heavyweight in his own right and has been at the top of his field for a long time. He has the experience and claims to have refined his boxing style to ensure victory over The Hayemaker. This opponent has to be taken seriously, with 44 wins (33 of them being KOs) out of 54 fights.

What's going to be the result on Saturday - a win for The Haymaker is expected. The bookmakers believe this as well - with all the money on the Champion to retain his belt and in so doing, start his legacy of being one of Boxing Heavyweight Greatests!

I'm betting on David Haye to knock-out John Ruiz in the 4th Round - that's a whopping 12/1 at Centrebet

Well it took another 5 rounds but stopped he was.

Anyone card to bet on which will be his next fight?

Awesome performance from Haye Ruiz has long been underestimated and for Haye to do a number on him was outstanding.

The most logical next fight should be Wladimir Klitschko v Haye around November time. I would imagine Haye would love it to be in the states although getting the Klitschko's out of Germany is a real problem but if the money was right Madison Square Garden would be the obvious venue. Truthfully Haye v either of the brothers is the only real Heavyweight fights out there to be made. I just hope either fight finally comes off in 2010.

Whoever it is, David is here to stay - for a while anyway :) Nothing in sport is guaranteed, but God willing The Hayemaker will do us proud!
