Manchester City visit Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon. The Villa manager, Alex McLeish has been under pressure by some of the fans due to the team's poor record to date. Aston Villa has only six wins in twenty four Premier League games, and have kept only one clean sheet in the last thirteen games in all competitions.  Online betting operator Stan James, has City firm favourites at 4/6, the Draw at 5/2 and a Villa win at 9/2.   These betting prices are probably a true reflection of Villa's home form and unrest with the manager, and City's strength away from home.

Football sports betting punters will not be too concerned over Villa's form, the team are mid table at 13 and not in any danger of going down, at this point in time. However, Villa's supporters may not be so relaxed about the team's performance, and would have expected a lot more at the beginning of the season. After all Alex has had a full pre season with the squad, which includes talent like Bent, Agbonlahor and Ireland.

One will have to admit with Villa's poor home record, they drew the last two and lost the 4 game before that, I have no doubt that City should get all three points here. Looking at the online betting markets for the game, I quite fancy Robbie Keane to score anytime during the game, and Stan James have this priced at 13/5.

Manchester City win 1-0, good game, unlucky for Aston Villa supporters and more pressure on Alex McLeish...
