Can Manchester City do the double over Chelsea, like last season??
Chelsea will be taking Manchester City very seriously. It was a fantastic
campaign for Chelsea last season and they deserved to be crowned Premier League
Champions but the likes of Manchester City and Inter Milan in Europe exposed
their weaknesses.
Carlos Tevez looks sharp and City fans will be hoping he looks just as slick
on the pitch. He has scored five goals in his last four Premier League games
against Chelsea and he should be able to expose the Chelsea defence's lack of
pace.
Only Ashley Cole has any breakaway speed in the back four and Mikel will most
likely to be tasked with keeping Tevez quiet. Tevez is 7/4 to score anytime
but if you fancy
him and Drogba to both score anytime, you can back them at an
enhanced price of 7/1 with our Match Winner offer.
Chelsea have scored goal after goal so far this season, and I do fancy a 3-3 draw at 66/1 which looks
good value
Both teams have quality players and the strikers to score goals. Chelsea
will not stay on the back foot should they score first and the game could flow
from end to end. The Premier League this season has seen some high scoring
affairs and both teams could put on a show for the Sky cameras, with a point
shared.
The critics say that Chelsea have played five easy games in the league, they
will play a City side that has been hit by injuries. Balotelli will miss the
fixture due to injury and will join the ex-chelsea player and former mate of
John Terry's, Wayne Bridge in the stands.
Chelsea will be without Benayoun and Kalou but the bigger worry for the fans
is the missing Frank Lampard. The Chelsea lynchpin has yet to play for Chelsea
since his groin operation and may not be ready.
Manchester City are 12/5 to win at home, the draw is
11/5 and Chelsea 6/5.
There should be many takers at 6/5 because of Chelsea's impressive start to the
season.
