Cheltenham Festival 2010

Only 13 days to go!!  Cannot wait, what is your back/lay of the Festival???

To get the ball rolling my back of the festival is Dunguib (although you won't get rich!!), my lay of the festival is Punchestown as I think Long Run has the beating of him.

For the big one I am going to let my heart rule my head and say that "The Tank" will become the 2nd horse in history to reclaim the Gold Cup.

I agree that Dunguib should get your festival off to a winning start, but at those prices maybe double him up with Masterminded in the Q.Mother Champ Chase, looked back to his best despite clattering the last fence. I'd lay twist magic in that race too, can't see him delivering round the Cheltenham course.

I'd love to see Denman tank it round for the GC but going to sit on the fence and 'see what the ground is like'

PP giving refunds on win part of bet up to max £250 if Dunguib wins, might be worth a dabble?  Only problem is they have cut their prices to the bone for this, might still wait for the day, cannot believe 2nd fav is going to go off any lower than 6's?

Bookies will lay Dunguib all day I think in the hope that something interferes or the big atmosphere spooks it.  Have  to say though was mightily impressed with it's last run although not a totally flawless round of jumping so not the banker that odds on backers (like me!!) think it is.

Rumours abound that Punchestown is lame, oh well hopefully you got the value on Long Run before the enemy halved the price!!
